Even Stephen Harper can’t follow Stephen Harper’s stories on the Senate-PMO scandal
October 28th, 2013 - 3:08pm
As he keeps changing his version of events around the Senate scandal, Stephen Harper is creating more contradictions and less clarity.
During a radio interview on Monday October 28th, the Conservative leader said:
“As you know I had a chief of staff who made an inappropriate payment to Mr. Duffy. He was dismissed.” Stephen Harper, Maritime Morning, October 28th, 2013
This was news to all involved, since only 4 days before the Prime Minister was repeating his initial assessment of Nigel Wright’s departure from the PMO.
“Mr. Wright, to his credit, recognized that decision was totally wrong and he has resigned.” – Stephen Harper, House of Commons, October 24th, 2013
It gets harder for Canadians to believe their Prime Minister when even he can’t keep his stories straight.
Canadians deserves better, they deserve the truth.
